Home : Woolston Village Pou
Featuring carved heads on poles of varying height, the pou were designed in collaboration with Ngāi Tahu carver and artist Fayne Robinson especially for their Woolston Village location. The three pou at each end of Woolston Village have multiple meanings and represent locally significant sites and the commitment to pass on knowledge from one generation to the next.
Collaborating with Fayne, we meticulously crafted the pou in the steel workshop, skilfully blending intricately carved pieces by Fayne with sturdy steel to produce a breathtaking art installation that will captivate and inspire all who visit Woolston.
As in any project of this scale Art Fetiche can provide a range of services and specific applications to enhance the final outcome. With skilled in house operators and state of the art tech, we add value to the over all impact of a project.
