Home : Fush
Fush is a unique take on the local fish and chip shop, and the fit out sets it apart as something different. Our work involved creating the artwork and digital printing that forms the backdrop to the space. Along with the sculptural 3D elements that form a big part of the impact we were able to ensure Fush stood out from the rest, whether in store or on it’s mobile waka, serving up at events and gatherings around Ōtautahi.
Anton Matthews vision for a new local, drove this fit out project. Set alongside his Joes Garage Wigram location it needed to stand with a fresh look. Working with Charlie Nott, architect, and artist Jacob Yikes, Art Fetiche were tasked with making it all come together from sketches, designs and layouts.
The outcome, combining the talents and skills of all involved is stunning. When you have such clever designers and artists working alongside, it’s a privilege to ensure the end result exceeds the initial concepts and visuals, and this is what has happened!
Once again the proof is in the outcome, and as a team we cannot be prouder of how the elements came together to set this ‘fish and chip’ shop apart. And then of course the food, which we have nothing to do with, sets this place off. Epic atmosphere, great food and attentive caring staff and it’s a winner! Fish dinner!
As in any project of this scale Art Fetiche can provide a range of services and specific applications to enhance the final outcome. With skilled in house operators and state of the art tech, we add value to the over all impact of a project.
The AF team were engaged early on to develop the initial concept, which we then saw through to it's installation on site

Art Fetiche have created the Joe's Garage environment that we've come to know. With industrial 'garage' feel, it is fast becoming an iconic cafe in many New Zealand cities.
Commi transports your eating experience to Vietnam and beyond, all except the numbers of people and the oppressive heat!
This project was an exciting opportunity for AF, putting a team together and tackling a vapour blasting project of this scale.
Art Fetiche are absolute pros when it comes to all of our signage and bespoke pieces at Fush. We continue to give them tall orders and they always overdeliver. They have wrapped our food trucks, created stunning murals, one off bespoke lights, large scale one off pieces that hang from the ceiling, custom furniture and much more. AF have helped us share the Fush brand with the world in a way that makes us proud! I wouldn’t go anywhere else
